Holding Tight

The vine buds are holding tight and not pushing shoots. That is really good. A friend in Pennsylvania lost peaches and apples in the cold snap that was this past weekend. The peaches were in flower and the apples far enough along that they lost some. Another friend down the Susquehanna river from the orchard says his grape buds are holding tight though. Just a few more weeks until mother nature stops this cold-warm roller coaster I hope.
